Whats your favourite code editor? +

Like the title says, whats your favorite code editor and why?

Personally i have used NPP since 2007 and that fast became my favorite mostly for the ease of styles for my PHP, CSS and HTML. I do however lack a live preview tho. For this i have to setup a "dev" page so i don't publish something stupid just to try it out, would be better if i could just type some code, refresh in the same window and save/publish any ideas what im looking for?

I used to use notepad++ but have recently switched to Atom

Notepad++ is free and effective idk why you need anything else really

I think notepad++ is the best if you know how to code

I like visual studio with notepad ++. Its easy and you can develop many things with it

I personally prefer IDEA, but I also use eclipse from time to time.

I use notepad++ and visual studio for html/web dev

also python

and eclipse for java

i used notepad++ for a very long time but i switched to atom yesterday and its nice too
