I have crypto wallet that have some cryptocurrency in it. how do you guys secure the wallet. as hackers nowadays love to target wallet.

Is it hardware or software? For software i would encrypt the wallet with a passcode that is NOT stored on the computer. I would personally use a hardware wallet, but if you cant afford one just encrypt the wallet file and be careful
