Man, you can do everything in DarkRP, be a rich guy or poor guy.

I'm currantly in making darkrp, It's fun for me but there are some downs, it's repeating thing in every server like maps and guns. But it's still fun, you can find so many cool and fun people

Plus: It's addictive, It's interesting to play, Communication

positive: gamemode allows for lots of hours to be spent on it
negative:lots of rule breaking

99.99% of darkrp are cookie cutter servers. Your life has no meaning and money has no value, printers ruin the aspect of RP.. Its basically just for people who want to troll/kinda RP but not really. Everyone has the same shitty m9k weapons mods with 100000 addons and every server has RP jobs. IMO there are better RP game modes, but most are serious RP, so if you just want goofy fun with little RP elements darkrp is 4 u

Downside: New comers get themselves in trouble and don't know the rules, so as a server owner with a lot of sympathy it sometimes hurts giving them warnings as it discourages them.
Also minges.

Upsides: Endless hours of fun. It's not typical *nuzzles u, noticed bulge owo* or pretending to be something in a cringey way. It's a fun... game where everyone has roles. It's roleplay but in a way I've almost never seen before.

I like Gmod a lot. There is a really big sandbox for you imagination!

RP in Gmod is a very strange expirience, u can go from Regular Dark rp to forming cults, to joining a criminal syndicate with the police in just a couple of hours.

I mean I really guess its up to you and your opinion on how you take it...

positive:can create good roleplay experiences when playing on a good server
negative:not alot of servers that have good roleplay
