Hi! My power goes out like 19 times a day for no reason. What is the best way to protect my hardware?

Surge protected power bar will do the trick, you can find one at a local hardware store.

I think you should get your plugs checked out as that is not normal for that to happen. Also, like the user above said a Surge protected plug would be very useful.

I think you should first ascertain what is the cause, surge protectors may or may not work while Uninterruptible power supply (UPS) and surge protectors can both be expensive. They both wear down after some time so do take note of that.

But as stated, find out why its happening first. It sounds terrible IMO

I had a similar problem, if its your desktop PC just dying, and you have a custom rig/ have changed out any of the hardware you should check that your power suply has enough power to handle everything (just make sure it has 50+ W more than the cpu and graphics card added together)

are you not using any UPS or Invertor for your system? mine runs 24/7 with no power hiccups
