Spongebob has always been like this, just as kids we didn't understand it. Now when I look at it again I can see why my parents would laugh.

Why are we acting like kids don't see people in bikinis, it's a totally normal thing. If you go to the beach you will see everyone in a bikini, it's not anything sexual, just what people wear on beaches. It has some hidden adult jokes, yes, but it's not anything that would change a kid or affect it in a negavite way.

Most kids won't notice it so it really isn't a problem. Except for the really out-of-the-way stuff like the one scene with Mr. Krabs washing the car.
