How did you guys get into enjoying Manga

If you complain about manga then you will never how hard reading Jap web novel without any illustration is.. lol

Manga dosnt censor gore or other stuff and generally has better story telling

I haven't ever had that problem. I've always enjoyed reading so the pictures just add to the experience for me. Plus I only read the manga of series that I really enjoy.

I enjoy reading manga as much as I love watching anime. Sometimes there are mangas with bad animation but oh well...

I started drawing with magazines that taught the basics. Then I meet rurouni kenshin and started reading.

I'm old, so I first found manga when Viz used to publish actual COMIC BOOKS. Like comic books you would see for superman, spiderman, etc. They used to publish chapters of Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball in small two to three chapter books and I would see them at a comic book store next to the grocery store when we went shopping for food. I bought some with my allowance and fell in love. When we got our first computer I was in high school and found some manga sites and I have been reading manga like crazy ever since.

I never really had an issue myself with the lack of color. It does seem dull and sometimes hard to delve into, but if the manga is good enough, you'll get past the dullness of color
