What programming language to start with?

I started with LUA, HTML and CSS for my programming language.

I started long time ago, with ASM on 8084 and 8086, later C than C++, now I'm developing on Java...

I was gonna say, Python is a pretty good one. I took it awhile back when it was first starting to pop up.

The first language I started was C# because theres so many tutorials on the internet

In our time, we studied basic, pascal than fortran came in, well 30 years later, all the other ones looks alike, so I suggest you start with basic one to understand the logic, the rst will follow.

I personally think something Event driven Programming is the best to start with like CSharp

Python is definitely the way to go... If you need a book recommendation read "Automate the boring stuff with python".

It depends where you want to take your coding. If you don't have a clear direction then start with python for sure.

For web related things do HTML -> CSS -> Javascript and then branch off to wide variety of things to improve.

c++ is nice if you want to get into game development and the game cheating development scene
