For both versions of runescape, there's a mobile client comming. That means people on mobile and pc will be able to play together

Do you think it's smart for mmorpg's to do this? I mean I find runescape a good example. People that have a phone that runs these clients will be able to progress faster, everywhere they are. While people bound to the pc won't be able to.

Opinions?

Never played Runescape but I've been waiting for a new release of Lineage and all they've done is postponed the actual game and released a mobile MMO and they're investing everything in it. I feel like phones aren't the place for a true MMO experience, and it's not like we have decent MMO's at all to be creating mobile MMOs, so yea, I think they're stupid and to be honest, just trying to make money off of mobile users who are spending money with apps.
