I'm getting a new computer soon and I was wondering if it was still worth buying overwatch in 2018. The gameplay looks so cool, but is there still a lot of players? I'm talking about PC overwatch not consol.

Yes, there is a pretty large userbase for Overwatch. If you're into these types of games, then go for it.

Nah, I wouldn't recommend it. Shit is dead. Save your money on another game.

It's not a dead game after all, it's just it is slow in giving contents. I would replay it for hours but getting bored after it. It's worth since it has a still higher playerbase.

you could always try Paladins. it's free and it's basically the same as Overwatch. if you really like it you can buy Overwatch.

Like the previous comment, you can try paladins. But I would argue that even tho both are hero shooter, pladins plays quite differently from overwatch as you can buy items and change your loadout.

Overwatch is still worth it and still very much alive. I recently got another account just to practice more heroes without risking my main.

I'd say it's pretty worth buying. There are still a lot of people playing it and is a very fun game. Overwatch is the most fun when you play with friends, so make sure to have some friends play with you!
