Fire Emblem Heroes (Strategy) and Animal Crossing Pocket Camp are pretty decent. A little annoying how the you feel like you have to buy things with money sometimes

Cut the Rope is a pretty cool game, also Angry Birds

Dragon Ball Legends is pretty funny and no need for spending money

I am playing lords mobile, while it is free to play, in order to become strong, you need to spend a bit. I have seen some big spenders.

I like king of pong, its very simple but super fun..

for offline game, BBTAN is amazing addicting game lol

I found a game called Honkai Impact 3rd a few days ago and i'm actually amazed how good the game is. It's free to play and very entertaining. It is a quite heavy game though so you will probably need a stronger device to run but i would recommend it to anyone who can play it.
