If you don't know whatanti-aliasingis, it's pretty much a system that get's rid of the jagged edges in the graphics of your game, by making the image smoother.

And the game get's those jaggededges because the image is made out of pixels, and since the game is made of straight lines in various angles, you can see those pixelssince the resolution might not be the best.
Now, minecraftkind of"has"anti-aliasing, not on the blocks themselves, only on textures, and to be honest, it looks really fugly. You used to be able to see a clear line where the blurring started, going from the normal texture to a really blurry version, but now it's a bit toned down, and yet you still can see it in some blocks.Glass seems to be the exception to this "thingthatmightbe^anti-aliasing", you can see what every block used to look like before they implemented it.Rails used to do this too, but it looks like the removed it. The example I can find that shows how much I dislike this"smoothing process"is in the glass panes, here you can see how it affects the panes, but not the glass.
For those of us that don't have4Kresolution monitors/laptops, where aliasing stops being a problem, Mojang should add proper anti-aliasing, and remove the thing they have now with the textures, and apply it to the whole image, to make the gamelook better.(And if possible not drop FPS by 80% while doing it)
I know Optifine has it, but minecraft should have it byDefault.

It has i think cause if you level up the mipmap to level 4 it clears all the anoying edges. Try it and you will see there will be a difference.
