What's everyone going to be for Halloween?

Just bought my outfit today, not gonna be here until next week. I'm going to be a plague doctor, also bought a staff to go along with it. To be honest, it's the most I've ever spent on a costume. $69 for the costume, and $47 for the staff (custom hand made).

I'm probably going to be working on Halloween sadly, so I'll just have to wear it to work if I do.

Just got my costume and staff. Overall it looks good but there's a few kinks to work out. Main problems are the wrinkles, and mask. I ended up buying a new mask which should be here in a few days because the white mask just doesn't work, or look good. New mask I got is Faux leather and stable.

That's not bad, but I would've used the money towards making it way more realistic on my own.

Go to any Goodwill and get a Cane, then put something cool on it. You can also find people on Etsy
that make plague masks that are pretty badass. As for the rest of the outfit, you can probably find a cloak, leather belts, boots, all that
at a Goodwill, save money, you'll appreciate your costume more because you made it, and if you give 2 shits you just donated to a good cause.

Anywho, nice costume idea.

I would if I had the time, or the energy for it. For me, it's not going to be used but only for a night, and I'll most likely be working anyway sadly. I do want a real costume though, even just to hold onto, I find them fascinating. The last image is a realistic one, and handmade, but costs a few hundred dollars, and for the price I'd rather make my own like you suggested. For this Halloween it'll work because I'm also broke, but in the future I'll get a better one.

I don't really dress up for Halloween anymore, Just spend the night chilling with some friends really.

I mean just sparing your free time and making a costume is so rewarding man.

Me personally, I don't celebrate Halloween that much but I do enjoy making costumes for me and my friends (regardless if I use it. Sometimes I go
conventions and cosplay but not often.)

To be honest, where I live, Poland, we sadly hardly celebrate it anymore. From year to year, there have been less and less people celebrating it. Perhaps it's because our govt thinks it's pagan and american and un-polish, but i don't know. Personally, i think it was a nice little holiday, and am bummed out that it's almost gone. Perhaps we can restart it in the future. Good luck to all y'all out there.
