Xiaomi versus Huawei

I've divided the comparison into 4 topic

- Spec and Hardware

Xiaomi always give good hardware but suck software

Huawei is like King of camera with cheap phone

- Modding

Huawei Devices cannot be unlocked NORMALLY because they shutdown their unlock bootloader page ;/

Xiaomi need to wait for 1day - 3month after you tried unlocked first time

- UI


I preferred MIUI (XIAOMI!)

- Customer Service

My boyfriend has the Huawei device, and now for months is working perfectly: great camera, long battery, fast system... But lets see for how long

these two affordable mosters really rock. Both have amazing devices and top techs used. Now I own Xiaomi, next phone possibly can be Huawei

I've been hesitating between those 2 brands. I'm more inclined to go for Huawei but the modding part you mentioned will probably force me to do more research.

xiaomi for modding, since they have committed to releasing kernels for their phones..

Huawei will offer you a better OS, but for a higher price, comparing this one to the Xiaomi you will find more colors and styles of this other brand

Xiaomi always offer VFM devices and the unlockable bootloaders is a must for me.
