How can I lock the FPS of CSGO to lower than 60?

In Counter-Strike: Global Offensive fps_max can limit your FPS, but will only go down to 59. I know this is weird but I can't play on anything more than ~35 fps without getting sick. A lot of friends want me to play with them, but I can't at that high of an FPS

Does anyone have any ideas for how to lock the framerate under 60 FPS?

FPS_MAX does limit to 58 lowest which you're correct in.

Your best bet is an external application such as MSI Afterburner or Dxtory.

I dont think u can or should do that , cuz that's the most optimal , never tried it personally

Doesn't exactly seem possible through console commands however I believe there's third party programs capable of capping your FPS. Your best bet is probably looking into such programs..

just run fraps in background set fps limit and record then delete recorded file

go to settings and activate vertical synchronization

This seems weird, maybe you are having a placebo, i like to call it, THE CONSOLE PEASENT PLACEBO. But if not, install a third party application to get it sorted out.
