Honestly, I've been given bitcon from someone for helping them learn about programming. The only issue I have now is that I really don't know what to do with it... I have kept track of bitcoin when it was first out and learned about how it works and what it is. But I am a complete newbie when it comes to buying and selling bitcon or where to or if there are any good online stores to buy stuff with bitcoin...
At this point either sell it all or hold onto it in case it goes back up... I tell people all the time not to get into the crypto market because of it's volatility.
You can either: 1) sell it 2) use it to buy stuff online - fasttech.com for one, accepts bitcoin payment, a lot of deepweb stores do. 3) use it to buy other crypto currencies as an investment 4) keep it in hopes it will appreciate in value in the future.

bitcoin is a virtual currency you can use it as fiat currency on places it is being accepted. few of them are like NameCheap etc. But it totally depends on your need what you want to do with your bitcoin.
