Where is everyone from?

Im always curious where other members are form when I am part of a board community.

It also allows me to learn new things about a culture or country from someone who actually lives there.

So let me know where you are form, and why noit share something of your country or culture.


Im Australian and have lived in most major cities throughout my life. Ive also travelled extensively around Australia as well as overseas.
- a common misconception ive heard is our country is small and that you can travel by car in a short time frame. This isnt true. Espcially if you are travelling between capital cities. You could drive 12 hours and still be in the same state (Queensland or Western Australia), as they are so large.
- Bloke is slang for Man and Sheila a woman.
- Drop bears are real I tell you.

Would lobe to hear about your country/culture.

I am from Sweden, the south part of it just just besides an island.

I think everyone is from Mom's belly. But according to geography we are from Earth. And one day we will go to heaven inshallah.

Why do you say weird? I began learning German in school but I only remember the very basics. It is one thing Australian schools lack is a variety of languages to learn in school.

I'm from the US.. I think you've all got the stereotypes of me and my country, and you're probably half right about all of them.

I live in the country - Virginia. Where there is whole forests between most houses, and when we do see our neighbors we either say hello or ignore them completely. But I also am not far from big cities where the only privacy you get is to close a door to the room you just walked in.

I listen to rock music, and I ride a Harley Davidson motorcycle. I wear a leather vest, have a beard, and probably look like a giant a-hole that some parents would tell their kids to stay away from. But I also am a parent to a 3 year old who is learning to keep an open mind, and I also used to be a firefighter who would have given his life to save your child who would run away from me.

I live in a country whose filled with hate, and I disagree with many policies that come from today's government that runs it. But I do my part and vote when I can, and try to make it a better place to live in, because I love this beautiful country.

Just like your countries, I'm sure, the world sees it as a bad place - but its my place!
