I only had 8 GB but then I borrowed another 8GB so I'm sitting at a mediocre 16 GB. Lol.

What is the interest in having so much?

I have 32GB in each of my desktops and 16GB in my laptop but it's usually overkill. 8GB is enough for most folks, and 16GB is about the max you need generally.

i have only 8 gb of ram but i planing to up this to 16, not to much because brasilian things are expansive

I would love to go to 32GB on my PC, but the recent RAM prices are pretty bad, so Ill have to give up on that for the forseeable future.

RAM is so expensive. But I blew a few $$ for a 16 GB DDR4 RAM :( rip my wallet
