It's definitely not as hyped but lots of people still play it!

no i don't think the game is dead , the opposite the game is getting popular day after day

The game isnt dead because it still has players but in a way due to all the BR games nowadays it isnt as unique which has lowered the players but it isnt dead.

PUBG isn't dead.
League of Legends isn't dead.
Overwatch isn't dead.
CSGO isn't dead.
Doomsayers come after every patch on every game. As long as there are prizepools for the pros to win, the game has plenty of lifeblood left. No tournament loses money.

I personally don't play it anymore and i feel that it has died down.
