IS it actually worth it.. do they work? The sales thread is from 2015

The V4 newer than 2015, I don't actually remember when it was released. The sales thread is still active but they switched to selling over a website.
I believe V4 is the last version before they made that switch so they are probably still selling these methods along with some new ones.

The methods are not special or "private" though. I think everyone with a bit of experience in spreading would come up with the same methods with some simple brainstorming.

Yeah, it's depressing how much is just copied bullshit.
And most of the ebooks are just common sense put in writing. If one has no idea about a certain topic those tutorials may be a useful introduction but not much more.
