Very difficult to choose someone. I'd go with Christian Bale. Not because he is the best actor. It's more like because I saw many movies where he was involved and I liked the most of them. Otherweise I would choose Jake Gyllenhaal. I loved him in Nightcrawler in some other movies too.

Kevin Spacey and Damien Lewis...I really love House of Cards and Billions

I'd go with Heath Ledger for his performance in The Dark Knight and Tom Hanks for Captain Phillips, Toy Story, Sully, and many other movies.
