Benefits to viber or whatsapp

Everyone i know uses viber, so thats pretty much my app or choice, however i wanted to see are there any benefits to using whatsapp over it, does the app have something, or are all of these pretty much the same?

the the most problem at all. You will use what all of your friends are using. In Germany all is about personal data secureness but most people use whatsapp. why ? because whatsapp was first and all using it :D its hard to confince them to another app.

But to answer your question: They are mostly the same.

Same in my country and viber, everyone is using it so anyone looking for an app will choose it.

I hardly use viber or whatsapp but when I do use one of them, I normally use whatsapp. More people are on it (Family and Friends) than on viber

Viber some years ago had more features like whatsapp such as voip calling and stickers which all eventually have been incorporated into whatsapp plus more.

As it stands whatsapp has more features than viber but soon they will be adding advertisements into whatsapp.

If you're not comfortable you can stick with viber.
