I'm looking for a game that has a crafting system similar to minecraft but 2d like terraria. I've already tried starbound.

Mount & Blade: Warbandone of the best strategy games out there. You can be a king/queen, a merchant, a vassal, a mercenary... The possibilities are endless. I can't stop playing it since the time I got it. I strongly recommend this game if you're a fan of strategy games/sandbox games with mods the game experience is even better.

Yakuza 0 , Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza Kiwami 2 are fantastic, last 2 are still only on PS4 but they are very immersive and aren't too long to finish. Lots of additional sidequests etc too
