The day you start using dual monitors setup or triple one or a wall of them... you won't ever find yourself comfortable with a single monitor again. Trust me on that. It is like watching the world around you with a single eye. Try it for a few minutes...

I have 2 monitor one 1080p Samsung 24" monitor, and one 1440p 32" Acer monitor.
Since I got the large 32" I rarely use the second monitor as I can fit everything on one monitor!

I have a 24 inch and I think a 6 inch that I have yet to set up. I've been putting off clearing the desk space for it.

If it is to work, then two is better. Many programs and they are convenient to carry on different monitors - for example, IDE or another main program on one, and mail, messaging, browser on another.

If you play and watch a movie, then a big monitor is better.
