Just a suggestion and don`t know if it will work since one user may report another user. Adding a new feature called "Auto freeze" if three members report a user as "Leecher" until mods or staff become online. This could help in my opinion!

Yea i vote for that, It brings us back to what i've been thinking of.

We had a similar system like that before yes, and it worked fine. There was like no spam at all (or low quality posts), except for the ones made by the "normal" users, which always happen.

But it was quite some work, for every one of the staff team, as new members were joining constantly at a pretty high rate, and all of them wanted to be approved asap, which wasn't possible to handle on the long run. So posting activity went down and that is what a forum is for.
Like some, love some, trust none.

Am i missing something here, this is so same to the report button, okey sure, you are reporting the user, not the post in this scenario, but i dont think it makes that much of a difference, if any in the long run!

Aoki - NasyrI've seen this topic prepared to be able to see content in this forum while browsing googled. And my mind came to this topic how to prevent spam. These people have set up a nice system and I think the permissions are being configured on average. Because you understand English better. I just wanted to show it. Good work...

I think we should have a manual approval system, I did recommend this and remember doing so but can't remember the official answer. When a new member registers they should not see the leak sections period, they can only see general discussion threads and also can't see stuff like the Marketplace and Contests & Giveaways.
