RWBY Volume 6 screwing up

I personally enjoy RWBY as a good anime but I am hating what they are doing with the show. They are screwing up Adams character, they are making the good guys fight Atlas Military making team RWBY bad guys. Adam has a back story and they are not explaining it. I hope they fix this with some sort of flash back like they did in season 3. What is your opinion on the matter?
