Are Forums Dying?

I dont think so there are still many active people on forums

I've always preferred forums than social media apps, forums are an entirely different thing. Social media like Facebook and Instagram or whatever imo are more for your personal life than for a gaming community or whatever. And Discord is just a glorified irc chat, but it would be cool that there is some proper style of forums or something inside of discord since they are doing the digital store and all.

I think they are slowly dying but that they will make a comeback sometime soon. There are some that I use that go through dry spells.

What makes any platform ht or miss are its people. As long as we are being served what we want is just another day.
No, Forums are not going to die anytime soon.
In my opinion they might and should comeback.

Because facebook is surrounded my too much diverse stuff and its impossible to have a reasonably good conversations.

For that reason alone forums will live for atleast a decade to come.

Or In other words, I just started a forum recently and my opinion might be biased. :lol:

With the population growing, there's going to be more and more people on forums. So I'd say it's growing more than dying.

Honestly, forums have been the number one place to communicate personally I would prefer forums over social media sites like instagram and facebook.

4chan isnt dead so no not completely dead

Forums behave kinda like a hydra; when a popular forum falls then there's a vacuum left in its place and demand for an alternative.

When leakforums went down there was a few forums that got a massive surge of members (this forum being one of them).
