Once a girl asked me out for a coffee. She asked me to choose a place for the same. I suggested her Brewerz (a coffee shop) as it was nearby.

All done.

I went, she was already there.

She: ?Kya order kare? (What should we order?)

Me: ?Coffee.

She: ?Konsi? (Which one?)

Me: ?Jo tumhe pasand ho. (Whichever you prefer.)

Because before that, I had no idea about types of coffee. The only coffee I tried was either at home (A cup of milk with a packet of Nescafe) or in marriage parties.

She ordered Cafe Mocha (Milk-based, chocolate flavoured coffee). When she returned after giving her order,

I asked, ?how much did it cost?.

? ?170 She replied.

?Haan! Sahi me? I asked (Shock was clearly evident in my voice) (what! really!?)

?Yes, Much cheaper than other cafes. She replied with a smile on her face.

Here, how I would spend my ?170:

I would have bought 500 grams of Paneer for ?110 (?20 discount. Perks of being Yadav Tongue).

Now, I would have ?60 as a balance. I could easily spend ?40 for onions, tomato and masala (Green coriander leaves for free).

I would have kept ?20 for auto fare for the next day.

Yes, that's me!

Overall with ?150, I could have enjoyed a perfect dinner with my family. Can anything else beat this?

Fancy places and expensive menus are overrated for me. I find happiness in little things.
