Play some bot games and pick some champs that you like and practicing playing with them.

Learn to use pings (hold alt button and click/drag mouse) to communicate in game. Stick to one champion, so that you can focus on learning one champion, and then on the game, instead of learning all champions, then the game.
You're probably best of starting bot lane, as you will have a teammate with you there.

Play ranked as soon as possible, normal games are not representative of the actual way the game is played,

Enjoy the game, I hope you won't encounter alot of toxic players. They are pain the ass. Otherwise the game is good. Do duos.
