Garrysmod 2?

Yea, I'm pretty sure the next Garry's Mod is called S&box. It's interesting to think it's being developed by another group of ppl.

I think the new one will not appear, most likely they will update the old one, but the idea is cool

I think it would be an interesting game, and I would love to see how they develop a more interesting system for role play game modes, as Dark RP, Starwars RP, Ext. are the most popular game modes

As some have mentioned, they were planning on making a Garry's Mod 2 on Source Engine 2. SE2 has been out for a few years, but has been private mainly to Dota 2. So, they've given up waiting for it and went to Unreal Engine 4, to create a game called S&Box (Sandbox), which is basically "Garry's Mod 2" and what I'm hearing is they're planning on releasing it this year, hopefully.

Garry's mod 2 (s&box) is going to be a revolutionary game with infinite possibilities. I look forward to it lol

I did hear about a second gmod coming in the works possibly vr or just a second game with new textures but i really hope so!!!

They also setup a discord for the project s&box, they keep you up to date on all the developments/commits they make.
