Is Minecraft dying or thriving?

A lot of people have quit playing or the content creators have decided to quit producing content or the people have quit watching it.

I don't think so, I think it will just remain popular for a while, atleast until 2020's.

I do know as an entertainment software. But educators still using Minecraft for improve education classes.

I dont tthink its dieing ... i thing the game have much to offer!
