make sure you practice every day and you should take a teacher- it"s always easier to learn with a teacher who fixes you than watching videos on youtube.
Start by learning basic chords - A B C D E F G major, and then minor, learn how to use your pinky finger and do basic scales in all those same keys, learn major and minor scale patterns, after that you can start looking up simple songs from genres you like to practice with. It's generally better to practice for 20-30 minutes every day instead of 3 hours all at once, and then your fingers can get rest and won't get too sore from practice sessions either. Just look up some basic stuff on youtube, like "how to hold a pick" "how to play A minor chord", etc. Good luck!
The way I learned was by trying to play songs that I liked at the time. That and spending hours on end playing the same 4-chord progression to get good dexterity in my fingers.
