I guess nvidia cause, well, I use it and i think the over hype around it is worth it.

AMD gpus are really cheap at the moment, but most of them are worse than your 1060

I have a gtx 970. I built my computer in 2013 haven't upgraded anything and it still runs any game I throw at it. I haven't really done any builds or testing with and products.

I would go for NVIDIA. AMD might be cheaper but I think it has less quality and a worst support.

Nvidia is definitely more quality for its price. I've had AMD cpus die on me on my rigs I've made for fun, I can't say much about their GPUs, but its just messed the brand up for me. I always rock Intel/Nvidia, haven't been disappointed since.

Nvidia has the best graphic cards in the market, however amd cpu's are better at video editing.

I personally own an Nvidia graphics card, and it is very useful. I get very good FPS in some games!
