I was told the same and I thought it was over hyped movie so didn't watch but now looking at this thread I am thinking of watching that movie.

I think the creators of this movie were inspired by old soviet film Amphibian Man (1961 or 1962) -
science fiction romance film starring Vladimir Korenev and directed by Vladimir Chebotaryov and Gennadi Kazansky. It is an almost fable-like story based upon the eponymous novel by Alexander Beliaev.

Yeah you're right it was a really good movie. But I like all dc and marvel movies

This is marvel, every movie the same, boring! You see one of that movies, you know every other from this universe

Aquaman was the best DC movie I have ever watched. Everyone should give it a try.
