My friend owns a server called NSN DarkRP or Non-Stop Networks, he started it in 2018 and the discord now has over 1000 members. So that's something, it's not dead.

Hard to find a Legit RP server that actually utilizes RP and is what your looking for. DarkRP is where RP goes to die. Didn't use to be so bad just to play but now It's like all server owners decided to make them Pay-2-Win.

It's still around, honestly the community has changed so much Military is more vibrant than Dark
