What your favourite genre of anime?

I love me some drama, comedy, slice of life and romance. I enjoy some horror too, but there's almost none in that genre.

I'm pretty mixed but I feel I'm more into the whole OP characters, well more just not weak maybe not the best but certainly up there
a good example would probably be food wars

It's funny because I used to think this genre was boring, but I can't get enough slice of life nowadays. SOL shows are generally relaxing, so it's nice to sit down and watch an episode or two after a rough day of work.

I'm getting bored with anime art nowadays until I saw Yami Shibai series, this horror anime has a cool art style, make me chill every episode

Isekai for sure yo lol They do get repetitive quick though but I do enjoy watching them for the most part.

I don't know what genre it's considered, but as I've grown into a less-than-prude adult, I like kinda racey/sexy, fan-service-fiilled, Loli-like stuff with nice colorful stimulating animation like No Game No Life, Bakemonogatari, Kakegurui, Zombieland, etc... or anything Loli, I'm starting to realize this as I type lmao.
Having graduated from enjoying really dark, plot-rich shows like Shinsekai Yori, Blood+, Steins;Gate, Elfen Lied, Another, Gunslinger Girl, etc.
I DON'T KNOW WHY MY PREFERENCE HAS DETERIORATED LOL. XD

I thought there was a pretty big horror-selection to choose from! :o

100% agree on this. Slice of life anime is great for getting comfortable and whenever I just don't want to get super involved in deep plots and intense action.

Aside from that though, I'm a sucker for magical girls. I think it's the colors and the overall look. Everything's so cutesy...
