I dont think there will ever be a garry's mod 2, they already updated the source engine in February.

Garrys Mod 2 will be called sandbox, it wont be a mod so hence the change of name and will be develop under unreal engine 4. So I will be super upset if it goes to epic store front first. But check the facepunch site and look at the games they made and the games that are still in development the game is called sandbox but they put it as s&box instead, so you can read it for yourself. I hope they add a decent modding system to it.

There is almost no way. Firstly source 2 isn't coming anytime soon knowing valve. And secondly, gmod will probably just keep using 'updates'. So gmod is bassicly out of the question, just like minecraft 2, half-life 3 etc.

Gmod 2 will nevre happen because valve are not m woring about making games anymore they just making braead

I do not think that something should come out like gmod 2, our current gmod was not to be a game like and today XD, but who knows if we fill the bag of the developer something happens
