He is very easy to play, passive ability and jump to the side make it possible to quickly take a good position, the bow has a huge damage, and a squall of arrows can easily break the shields, the arrows themselves have a HitBox the size of a log, and the ultimate is typed very quickly.

He is a high skill hero, so many people aren't mechanically skilled enough -- or making the right pick-offs -- to use him effectively. In a game with point objectives snipers are generally not great at taking or holding objectives, so it takes a lot of team coordination for them to be useful. It's okay though, as long as they're trying. You have to get good at him somehow.

There are so many bad hanzos out there and everyone thinks because he get 1 or 2 kills in a whole game he is good.
