well that depends the situation wont get better till new factories are made which take a while and even then the new card prices might be quite a bit higher than before because they know we are willing to pay that much for it so for them including new cards to go back down id say around 3 to 4 years

With the current situation of the pandemic + chip shortages (+ crypto miners), prices are unlikely to drop in the near future; this goes the same for both second-hand GPU and new ones,

I personally, think that it would take at least two years before price starts to drop.

Watch out for best buy drops. I was able to grab an RTX 3080. I believe they drop it every month at MSRP.

the prices will go down in few years i think, all the problem the COVID made will be hard to resolve. The world is rly late on on all deliverry of any component so will be hard to get better price in few month
