Looking for a decent latch solution to keep the upper half of the door properly closed when collapsed and towing. Whatever came on my 99 2720 was some sort of bad jury rigging. Any and all ideas appreciated!

I replaced my latch with the windshield latch of a bass boat. I was riding with my brother on his boat and saw the latch, I ordered one that evening and it works perfect.

Online stores usually have a wide assortment of door latches. The most important is to buy a latch that is compatible with your door. All these nuances regarding compatibility and types of latches discuss with a locksmith specialist who works specifically with car door issues.
Locksmith near me sw14 - try this one. They might be able to help you or anybody else who still needs to fit some locks. I have read great reviews of their work and specialists.
