Were this contributing users to the site at least warned before a decision was made?

If someone's robbing your house, are you warning the thief before you call the poilice? Quite far fetched, but I'm sure you got the point.

If someone is robbing your house and there's two people outside that told the theft where the key was because they thought the robber was relative, or some shit, and you kill the robber in your house, are you going to shoot the people that told the robber where the key was?
