New Anime Viewer Suggestions

Really depends on what someone likes to begin with. But I always thought that Kara no Kyoukai movies are solid start if you want to tell a person anime is not for kids, it has a lot of depth and the series is not on the level where people would be repulsed by it (accept if blood is not their thing).
