Anyone else come back recently after very long break and feels like a whole new game?

I mean this in a good way, but has anyone else come back to the ranks of the builders, rejoined the clan of creatives, embraced the life of the crafterr I mean; started playing minecraft recently after a few years hiatus? Because DAMN, I never thought they'd take it this far. My friends know things that I never thought would exist in the game but with foresight I should have known they'd only expand, they had to give looting and exploring more purpose and definitely should've expected all the new realms/bosses after seeing the nether for the very first time, I should've known how far they would take this game and I love it so much all over again because it feels like a brand new game again like when I was NOOB.
