How many languages do you speak?

Hi all


4 fluently, (Italian, French, Arabic and English) as I lived many years in the 3 first related countries.... For English! the web, school studies, plus travelling helped a lot.
3 more languages so so, 1 of them is Chinese, lived in china, but man it's hard, then Spanish, lived shortly in Spain and very similar to Italian, so it's a 50%, then beginner German, old school studies.
The goal is to speak 8 fully before I die.... the 8th is Russian, got a big interest in it, but for now I just 4 words lol
Why all os this?
As a big traveler, communicating with humans is really exciting for me.
But let's be logical here, the question should be:
Why not?
