What careers can i have if i were to take computer science as a degree

I have a Comp Sci degree - probably a little older than you, though - I'm 43!

Options are endless, IMHO. A good place to start is in software development and take it from there. I started out as a C++ developer, moved into Java and Python, C#, then into SaaS technologies and virtualisation. I'm now no longer a techy, but work in a fairly senior role within a healthcare company.

AI and machine learning are both areas that are huge in the industry these days. Same with information security. If you have any interest in those areas, well worth pursuing, and the pay in the technology sector is still way above a lot of other jobs out there. Good luck!
