Honestly give it another try. If Asta's scream was what put you off it gets less annoying as the show goes on. I'm about 50 episodes in and whilst it's no Fate/UBW or Eva, if you enjoy shows like Fairy Tale or Naruto (basically can enjoy something a bit trashy and predictable) then it's okay.


My biggest issue is actually the lack of ambition. The show really feels like Fairy Tail but dark. It feels like the author wanted to combie Fairy Tail, Seven Deadly Sins with the end-goal target of One Piece.
