Is it worth getting a teamspeak server?

If you (and the people you'll be talking with) have a super strong preference for Teamspeak, then use it.

Discord is far more versatile than Teamspeak and has way more options, and it's also free. I would recommend using Discord unless you have a strong preference towards TS.
