Xiaomi versus Huawei

I have a Mi 8 Lite and it was almost impossible to unlock it. You have to ask Xiaomi and wait for a week or more. I heard Huawei is even harder, if possible, to root. So I'd stay with Xiaomi - if only I had chosen one with a better camera.
