Is mining dead?

If you select new coins to mine for, do yourself a favor and check up on them first to #1 ensure they're of use in the future (by providing something other coins don't already) and #2 that they're legit and not going to steal all the loot once they've reached their target by disappearing like a lot of coins have.. otherwise you'll just be mining them for other people
