You spelled depression wrong, and it is really bugging me, but ignoring that. I do agree with what you're trying to say although you could've worded it much better. Self preservation is a natural human instinct and that serves as a motivational factor towards life, so is reproduction. All species are naturally inclined to reproduce, it's just the way life is. When a human baby is born the parents are naturally inclined to make sure their young have the best life possible. By having kids you allow life after death to have meaning. Let's say for example you are wealthy upon death. Your children (or whoever is on your will) will inherit a said amount of money from you. That is a lasting impact.
