LOL, is it fun? do you recommend it?

LoL is probably the nicest looking moba out there IMO. It has some of the best visual clarity too; looking at a moba like DOTA2 it's pretty hard as a newcomer to tell what's going on.

Honestly, I think LoL is a decent casual game to pick up. Its strongest points are their champions of course, lots of cool looking and fun champs. As a Diamond V ranked player, I heavily do not recommend taking the ranked gamemode seriously unless you enjoy competitive play. Just an awful experience overall.

The toxicity is overrated in LoL. People just don't know how to use a mute function and would rather bitch on reddit about it than hit a button. Of course, there are some games with trolls that you can't just mute, but those are relatively uncommon
